He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Miller Rorie and Alice Starnes Rorie; his sister Elsie Crook; his daughter Kimberly Renee Rorie; his stepson Scott Bush; his sisters, Joyce Baker, Sue Cox of Monroe, NC and Mable Osborne of Fort Mill, SC; his daughter Cynthia Rorie Gross (Andrew); his granddaughter Samantha Metts (Nicholas); his great grandchildren, Walker and Sawyer Metts; his daughter Linda Rorie Watson (Daryl); his granddaughters, Savanah Watson and Melanie Whisnant (Matthew); his son James Fleming Rorie Jr. (Nicole); his grandchildren, Kathryn, Blake, William, Kyle Bush (Kelly) and Brandi (Nick); his great grandchildren, Collin and Caitlin; his grandchildren, Jessica, James and Christopher; and also Brenda Rorie. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
