In loving memory of James Richard Nichols of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Silver Spring, Maryland, who departed this world on May 22, 2025 at the age of 31. As James Richard departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James Richard. Though James Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He is survived by: his parents, Richard Nichols and Sonja Nichols; and his siblings, Richard Nichols III and Kayla Nichols. He is also survived by his grandparents; his godparents; cherished aunts and uncles; numerous cousins; and a broad community of friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Park Church (6029 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216-2205). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
