We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2020, at the age of 86, James Robert Purdy (Charlotte, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, Clifford and William Purdy; his former wife Phyllis Edna MacKay; and his wife Eileen Carol Hiller Purdy. He is survived by: his former wife Grace Jean Emmerson Langea; his close friend Grace Langea; his children, Colleen (Claude Dagher), Charles (Julie Purdy) and Cathleen (Sam Hedgecock); and his grandchildren, Peter Claude Dagher, Hannah Lynn Purdy and Emma Joy Hedgecock.

In lieu of flowers we invite that donations be made to Elliotte Manor Assisted Living Facility, Mint Hill N.C.
