He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Harvin Broadway, Sr. and Frances Amelia Pitts; his brother Henry Broadway; and his former wife Doris Browning Broadway. He is survived by: his siblings, Olin H. Broadway, Jr. (Sadye Anne) of Charlotte, NC and Fabian A. Jackson (Robert) of Clemmons, NC.; his children, Elizabeth Gionis (Demeter) of Waxhaw, NC, William J. Broadway (Betsy) of Matthews, NC and Fabian Brandon Broadway (Jonathan Zinkan) of Charlotte, NC; and his grandchildren, Rachel Gionis, Eleni Gionis, Nicole Broadway, Lauren Broadway, Preston Broadway, Rhett Broadway and Corinne Broadway.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Charlotte Latin School Athletics or the Humane Society of Charlotte.
