She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Mark Jones of Charlotte, NC, Andrea Jones of Charlotte, NC and Stephen Jones (Janet) of Oak Island, NC; her grandchildren, Jane Elizabeth Jones of Charlotte, NC, Taylor Jones of Charlotte, NC, Marley Jones Marlow of Brunswick, GA and Johnie Jones of Charlotte, NC; her great grandchildren, Campbell Civera of Philadelphia, PA, Tilly Mae Civera of Philadelphia, PA and Evelyn Jones of Charlotte, NC.; her parents, Henry Walter Covington, Sr. and Bessie Jamison Covington; her former spouse Johnie H. Jones; her son Steve; her husband Charles Myerly; and her close friends, Tortilla, Duke and Eve.
