She was predeceased by: her husband Sam McCoy; her parents, Samuel Cornelius and Willene Cornelius; her stepfather Watt Shumake; her nephew Joshua Cornelius; and her pets, Kitty-Kitty Meow-Meow and Andy.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Davis (Mitch), Timothy McCoy (Julie) and Jonathan McCoy (Shelly); her grandchildren, Daphne McCoy (Laurenn), Madeleine Darkwa (Charles), Nathan McCoy (Brooke Carroll), Sam and Jacob McCoy; her brother Gary Cornelius (Suzanne); her uncle Parks Cornelius; and her nephew Roger McCoy (Miriam).
