She was predeceased by: her parents, Giles Lathan Cloninger and Etta Glover Cloninger; her husband George Lewis Cockrell, Sr.; and her son Gary Boyd Cockrell. She is survived by: her children, George Lewis Cockrell, Jr. (Nancy) of Tenaha, TX and Judy Cockrell Clarke of Matthews, NC; and her brother Earl Cloninger (Dot) of Denver, NC. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.
