We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Jennie Arnold of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Kinston, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Rudolph Jones and Ella Sutton Kilpatrick Jones; her husband Harry Hodges; and her brothers, Clifton Patrick and Linwood Sutton.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia, D. C., Thomas Edward Arnold of Gaithersburg, Maryland and Debora Arnold; her son-in-law Thomas Sean Fox of Charlotte; and her grandson Dylan Lucas Fox-Arnold of Charlotte. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 safety concerns, no memorial service will be held locally, but a service will take place at Arlington National Cemetery when it is safe to do so.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oceana (oceana.org), a science-based organization whose mission is to protect and restore the world's oceans.
