He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Appling; his daughters, Margie A. Weddington and Jonetta Appling (Shaun Howard); his granddaughter Ashley Marie Howard; and his siblings-in-law, Arsonia F. Appling, Ola Mae Ardrey (Brice), Madge Givens, Arthur Givens, Eddie Williams and Lester T. Lewis. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
