It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Vogt of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Marcel and Sophia Baron Vogt; his nephew Tony Braswell; and his brothers-in-law, Steven Edwards and Rickey Newsom.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie; his wife Diane Presson Vogt; his daughters, Wendy Vogt Weesner (Kerry), Deborah Stevens Nielsen (Chris) and Amanda Vogt Tyson (Jeff); his grandchildren, Sadie, Benjamin Stevens, Ariel, Garrett and Evie Tyson; and his siblings, Frank Marcel Vogt, Jr. (Gwen), Jean Vogt Cenicola (Matt) and Elizabeth "Libby" Vogt Edwards.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital for Children.
