He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonathan Charles Hill (JC) and Willar Tate Hill; his former wife Elizabeth Estelle; and his brother Gary Hill. He is survived by: his wife Bestelle; his sons, Jon Hill (Joyce) of Charlotte, NC., Roy Hill (Alisa) of Kannapolis, NC. and Eugene Hill of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Jon-Douglas Hill of Portland, OR., Lauren Burrell (Jonathan) of Arden, NC., Allison Capps (Jason) of Arden, NC., Luke Hill (Madison) of Oakwood, OH. and Katie Beth Hill of Kannapolis, NC; and his great grandchild Maddux Capps of Arden, NC..
A service, with limited seating due to COVID restrictions, to celebrate Don's life will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, Sept. 29th, 2020 at Harry & Bryant's "Chapel in the Oaks," 500 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC.
