It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Charles LoCurto of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Joseph Charles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joseph Charles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter LoCurto and Leonore Ricca; and his brother Vincent. He is survived by: his children, Joan Trautmann (Thomas) of Charlotte, NC and Thomas LoCurto (Donna) of Prospect, CT; his grandchild Jamie LoCurto (Jack Lu) of Bristol, CT; and his children, David Trautmann (Caroline) of Mill Valley, CA, Deanna Joshi (Neel) of Minnetonka, MN and Sarah Dilbone (Eric) of Charlotte, NC.. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
