It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Knight of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on September 20, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Clinton Knight and Pearl Amye Sutton Knight; and his brother George Clinton Knight, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Amy Knight Laughinghouse (Steven), Shawn Morgan (Carla) and Joseph T. Knight; his grandchildren, Delaney Shinn, Layla Laughinghouse, Dalton Morgan and Gavin Morgan; his sisters, Wanda Lingerfelt, Judy Hall, Linda Bowden (Alex), Mary Jane Bumgardner (Eddie) and Penny Knight; his former wife Deborah Carpenter Knight; and his sister-in-law Lisa Knight. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
