She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Lawing and Elon Lawing of Charlotte; her siblings, Clarence Lawing, Jr. of Spruce Pine, NC and Doris Lawing Browder of Charleston, SC.; her friend Dexter Vaughan of Charlotte; and her sister-in-law Nancy Lawing of Spruce Pine, NC.. She was also cherished by six nieces.
