We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2025, at the age of 95, Juanita Woolfolk Craghead (Charlotte, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Juanita may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Woolfolk and Florence Woolfolk. She is survived by: her nephew Michael; her children, Michael Craghead (Octavia) of Sterling, VA, Angela Craghead of Charlotte, NC and Anthony Craghead (John) of Charlotte, NC; her granddaughter Alexis Craghead of Charlotte, NC; and her nephew Albert Woolfolk, Jr. of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Statesville Avenue Presbyterian Church (3435 Nevin Rd, Charlotte, NC 28269). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
