It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Richardson Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Wadesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on April 15, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Leroy Richardson, Sr.; and his siblings, Thomas, Arthur, Sylvan, Brenda Richardson and Leslie Leake.
He is survived by: his mother Elizbeth Richardson; his children, Jaquelin, William, Greg and Sherry Richardson; his siblings, Anita Dixson, Queen Streater (Sidney) and Jolethia Richardson; and his brother-in-law John Leake. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
