It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maggie Lucille Amis Leake of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Clarksville, Virginia, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Charles "Rick" Leake (Darleen) of Newport Richey, FL, Petrina Mattier (Amsul Jay) of Charlotte, NC, Pamela Stevenson of Waldorf, MD, Anita Ford (Clifford) of Anaheim, CA, Donna Robinson of Charlotte, NC, Robin White (Marvin) of Charlotte, NC, Sheree Jones of Newport News, VA, Joseph Leake of Brewster, NY, Tony Leake (Gloria) of Woonsocket, RI and Monique Covington of Newport News, VA; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Elsie Amis of Washington, DC and Inez Hanson of Fremont, CA. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.
