He is survived by: his wife Marion Dobson of Winston Salem, NC; his son Matthew Rennard Dobson; his grandchildren, Khary, Anaya, Joshua, Nia and Reniyah; his daughters-in-law, Nilaja and Stacie Dobson; his siblings, Evelyn Dobson-Powell of Winston Salem, NC, Robin Macklin of Winston Salem, NC and Jerry "Tom" Dobson (Patricia) of Albany; the mother of his children Mary C. Dobson; his nieces and nephews, Kadetta "Kay" Miller (Sterling), Brittany Moore, Gerrie "Pinkie" Dobson, Iitichia Dobson, Jerrecho Dobson and Spencer Campbell; and his friend Neffertiti Sudan.
