She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonnie Reynolds Walker and Lester Carl Walker, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Ronald William Foster of Charlotte, NC; her children, Ashley Elizabeth Foster (James Blair Malcolm, Jr.) of Charlotte, NC and John William Foster, II of Charlotte, NC; her sister Flora June Walker Foster of Richmond, VA; her sister-in-law Deborah Foster Long (Cowan Locke Long) of Matthews, NC; her nephew Philip Carl Foster (Laura O'Neil Foster); her sibling's children, Allison Blake Foster of Fredricksburg, VA and Matthew Locke Long (Jennifer Tiepen Long); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Norah Anne Long, Henry Locke Long of Charlotte, NC and Leah Jane Barnwell (Dustin Barnwell) of Raleigh, NC; and also Logan O'Neil Foster of Ashburn, VA.

Plans are underway for a Celebration of Marcia's Life, too take place in the near future due to the ongoing pandemic.

Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association, The American Diabetes Association, and the National Kidney Foundation.
