She was predeceased by: her husband Ben; her parents, Roy Carpenter and Willie Mae Carpenter; and her brothers, Gene Carpenter and Joe Meares.

She is survived by: her daughters, Christine Smith, Suzanne Bowers (Chris) and Sharon Clode (Colin); and her grandchildren, Sam, Hazel, Margaret, Annabel and Bennett. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

They were angels, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.
