Margaret Hass Townsend Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2021, at the age of 97, Margaret Hass Townsend of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Hass and Rosa McCree Hass; her husband Dallas Townsend; and her grandson-in-law Michael Lee. She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Kenneth Townsend (Diann) and Dr. David Townsend (Pat); and her grandchildren, Lisa Hilborn (Matt), Christy Sherman, Danielle Lee, Brandon Townsend (Debi) and Dustin Townsend (Mekayla). She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Margaret's memory.
