We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2022, at the age of 99, Margaret Haynie Merriman of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Haynie Merriman to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Augustus Bacot Haynie and Evelyn Mobley Haynie; her spouse Florence; and her sisters, Jean Haynie Jenkins, Mary Evelyn Haynie Allison and Elsie Haynie Weeks.

She is survived by : her children, Ann Baldwin (Byron) and Hugh Merriman, III (Penny); and her grandchildren, Benjamin Baldwin (Margaret), Molly Gibbs (Daniel), Chase Merriman, Preston Merriman (Caroline) and Wil Merriman (Kendall). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid19, the family requests the use of face coverings at the funeral.
