She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Crawford and Hazelene Crawford; her husband Tommy Bowling; and her sisters, Jean Auten, Muriel Hamrick and Helen Mabrey.
She is survived by: her child Michele Bowling (César Vinalay-Ramirez); her grandchildren, Mireya Vinalay-Bowling of Charlotte and Luis Vinalay-Bowling of Charlotte; and her brother Ernie Crawford (Annette) of Mt Holly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (375 Woodlawn Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
If wished, donations may be made in her name to one of her two favorite charities, St Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.
