She was predeceased by: her parents, Leander Weaver and Eva Funderburke Weaver; her husband Forrest Dawkins; her son Forrest Randall Dawkins; and her siblings, Gene, James, Marvin, Bobby, Bonnie and Joyce.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Moss of Charlotte, NC, Tami Jasinski (Raymond) of Charlotte, NC and Richard Dawkins (Shirley) of Gastonia, NC; and her sisters, Jewell Allred of Rock Hill, SC and Dezerie Powell of Anderson, SC.. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; her nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Dawkins's name to York County Humane Society, 8177 Regent Parkway, Fort Mill, SC 29715.
