He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse D. Lands and Mae Green Lands; his brothers, Max Lands and Albert Lands; and his sister-in-law Barbara Lands.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Kelly Lands Bruce, Kendall Lands Solomon, Michael Lands, Craig Lands, Jason Lands, Dale Lands, David Lands, Kent Lands, Dean Lands and Chris Lands; and his close friend Rosalie Tindle.
