She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Sanders and Lillie Mae Sanders; and her sons, Rico Dejuan King and George King III of Washington. She is survived by: her children, Grover Sanders (Loretta) of Charlotte, NC, John King Jr. (Carolyn) of Morganton, NC and Tona Dean (Robert) of Charlotte, NC; her sister Annie Lee Brown of Detroit, MI; her aunt Elizabeth White; her cousin Earlene White; and her daughters, Angela Porter and Wanda King. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
