With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Roof Bowman of Charlotte, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Liston Eugene Bowman of Hickory; and her brother Reverend Charles Samual Wessinger. She is survived by: her sons, David Eugene Bowman and Timothy Justus Bowman (Rose Lynne); her grandchildren, Ramsey Leigh Murray (Pat), Mary Kathryn Bowman Choat (Colin) and Augustus Turner Bowman (Claudia); and her great grandchildren, Bowman Alexander Murray, James Liston Murray, Josephine Adeline Murray and Penelope Xiao Bowman.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Saint Mark's Lutheran Church (saintmarkscharlotte.org) or the ALS Association (als.org).
