She is survived by: her husband Werner Thomisser; her son Stephen Richard Thomisser (Elizabeth Bundy); her grandchildren, Cara Cynthia Thomisser of Charlotte, Abigail of Charlotte, Quillen Thomisser of Charlotte, William of Charlotte and Henry Jordak of Charlotte; her brother Dr. Archie Dykes; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy of Leawood, Kansas, Fred Thomisser and Linda Dykes.
