He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxie O. Redic Sr. and Ruby Lewis Redic; his sister Jacqueline Hall; and his wife Margaret Ann. He is survived by: his grandsons, Douglas of North Tustin, California and Daniel of North Tustin, California; his son Max O. Redic III (Fran); his grandchildren, Margaret and Max IV of Charlotte, NC.; and his brother James of Hapeville, GA..

The family suggests that memorials be made to Connie Maxwell Children's Home in Greenwood, SC.
