It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melva Thompson of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Honea Path, South Carolina, who passed away on May 28, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Greene and Geraldine Nally Greene; her husband Thomas; her son Curtis Thompson, Jr.; and her siblings, Doris Eudy, Helen Beatty, Martha Gordon and Morris Greene.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Crosby (Marty), Cindy Thompson, Natalie Shepherd (Charlie), Kimberly Thompson, Danny Thompson (Mary), Susan Peeler (David) and Robbie Thompson (Cindy); and her daughter-in-law Ellen Thompson. She is also survived by 17 Grandchildren; and 18 Great Grandchildren.
