He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Hamilton and Carrie Hamilton; his son Michael O'Day Johnson, Jr.; his stepson Vodrick Roberts; and his sister Linda Gail Johnson.
He is survived by: his son Travis Johnson (Tilwanda); his stepson Johnathan Roberts; his siblings, Ricky Hamilton (Gloria) of Mint Hill, NC, Danny Hamilton (Sharon) of Charlotte, NC, Anthony Hamilton (Marcella) of New London, NC, Iris (Bobby) of Midland, NC, Phyliss Robinson (Larry) of Albemarle, NC, Angela Scott (Timothy) of Albemarle, NC, Regina McCoy (EC) of Winston-Salem, NC and Wyvonnia Morgan (Timothy) of Salisbury, NC; and his grandchildren, Iyanna, Nikeem Douglas, Keenan and Jamir Bralyn Johnson of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
