It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nell Russell Allen of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Russell, Sr. and Sara Paxton Russell; her husband Harvey S. Allen; and her siblings, William Russell Jr., Thomas Warren Russell, Billie Russell Thompson and Jean Russell Davis.
She is survived by: her children, James L. Anderson, Jr. and Lynda Anderson Price; her son-in-law Larry Price; her grandsons, Richard Anderson (Lori) and Roddy Anderson; and her great grandchild Emily Anderson. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Matthews Presbyterian Church, 207 West John St., Matthews, NC 28105 in honor of Nell.
