We bid farewell to Nina Kalapuch (Charlotte, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 9, 2025 at the age of 79. Nina touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Eduardo Kalapuch; her siblings, Basilio Szczerba, Maria Hawryluk and Vladimiro Szczerba; and her parents, Mateo Szczerba and Olga Szczerba.
She is survived by: her children, Adrianne (Jorge Rudko), Fabian (Dawn Kalapuch) and Silvana (Ron Lucyk); her grandchildren, Jeremey, Lindsay Rudko, Steven, Kat Rudko, David, Oksana Rudko, Michael, Deanna Rudko, Charles Lucyk, Matthew Kalapuch, Andrew, Megan Kalapuch, Jacob, Isabella Lucyk and Mikayla Kalapuch; and her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Jakobi, Azariah, Solomon, Salem, Gabriella, Roman, Amos, Atticus, Timothy, Joseph and Anakin.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at 7424 E W. T. Harris Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28227. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memory Gardens (8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227).
