It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Octavia LaVerne Pruitt of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Bessie Louise Pruitt. She is survived by: her father Wallace Pruitt Sr.; her brother Wallace Pruitt Jr.; and her aunts, Evelyn Gloria Cooper, Edith Cotton and Princeola Young. She is also survived by cousins, and friends.
