She was predeceased by: her sibling Merrick E. Thomae (Tom) of Merrillville. She is survived by: her children, Laura Burnside of Charlotte and William Burnside (Sally) of Charlotte; and her grandchildren, Ashley Burnside of Hattiesburg and Cameron Burnside of Charlotte.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Central Church (5301 Sardis Rd, Charlotte, NC 28270). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
