He is survived by: his parents, Tom Burns and Lourdes Burns of Fort Mill, SC; his siblings, Peter (Lauren Burns) of Charlotte, NC and Mary-Michael Burns (Mathew) of Charlotte, NC; his close friend Molly; and his nieces and nephews, Beaux and Thomas Burns.
