With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Buxton Christenbury (Charlotte, North Carolina), who passed away on March 20, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wood Christenbury and Sue Christenbury; his wives, Nancy Bost Christenbury and Frances Rogers Christenbury; and his sisters, Jenna Sue Taylor and Jo Ann Austin Jones.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth Lee Christenbury (Suggie), Gerald Davis Christenbury (Joyce), Silas Ted Christenbury, Edward Maxwell Christenbury (Peggy) and Sandra Kay Thomas (Darrell); his brothers-in-law, James Walter "Burr" Taylor and Ernie Jones; his extended family, Michael Rogers (Judy), David Rogers (Jo Ellen) and Lu Rogers; Pat. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
