He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson James Hildreth and Lillie Moree Hildreth; and his brothers, William Carson Hildreth, Claude M. Hildreth, Ted Hildreth and Harry H. Hildreth.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gibson Hildreth of Charlotte, NC; his stepchildren, William M. Perry of Cheraw, SC and English P. Griggs (Mitch) of Davidson, NC; his siblings, Jamie Hildreth (Kitty) of Pageland, SC and Sarah Woodring of Huntersville, NC; and his stepgrandchildren, Camden Griggs of Dallas, TX, Collin Griggs of Charlotte, NC and Landon Perry of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
