She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Allen Helms, Sr. and Virginia Hall Helms; her brother Charles Allen "Chuckie" Helms, Jr.; and her boyfriend Steven Davis. She is survived by: her daughter Hannah Tamson (Tyler) of Mooresville; her sisters, Barbara Hinson (Bailey) of Belmont, Rhonda Haigler of Charlotte and Jackie Deese (Haigler) of Wilmington; her nieces, Tracey Smith of Gastonia, Christy Goodwin (Scott) of Lincolnton and Dana Howard (Paul) of Matthews; her cousin Cynthia Little (Helms); and her close friend Lisa Wright (Lowe). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
