It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Edwin Morton of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Richard Mason Morton (Dick) of Charleston, SC. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Moore Morton of Florence, SC.; his wife Lynn Moorhead Morton (Charlotte); his children, Nolen Elizabeth Morton (Washington, DC), Mason Robert Morton of Charleston, SC and Jackson Moorhead Morton of Charlotte, NC; and his sister Lisa Beth Morton of Rougemont, NC. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.
