He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Samuel Deese and Ruby Mae Deese (Prim); and his brother Ray Deese of Charlotte, NC.. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Moriarty Deese; his children, Mike Deese, Debra Deese Batchelor, Forrest Edge, Tom Edge, Lora Leftwich and Barb Garris; his grandchildren, Chris Edge, Courtney Sanders, Ashley Avery, Jennifer Leftwich, Matthew Edge, Joshua Leftwich, Kelsey Edge, Lauren Edge, Taylor Richardson, Haley Deese, Jonathan Leftwich, Joseph Leftwich, Jean May and Kate Weisner; and his great grandchildren, Lexi Edge, Maddi Edge, Christopher Edge, Luke Leftwich, Cam Sanders, Andrew Sanders, Lucy Merriman, James Leftwich, Lynleigh May, Cade Leftwich, Sullivan Avery, Holston Avery, Hank May and Levi Leftwich.
