He was predeceased by: his children, Helen Bernice Brown Leatherman and Ardean Brown Ewing; his parents, Myrtle Mae Helms Brown and William Butler Brown; his sisters, Helen Leatherman and Ardean Ewing (Dean); and his niece Kimberly Ewing Brautigam.
