It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Eugene Wood of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on August 23, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Odessa Louise Knight and Leonard Wood; and his brother William Wood. He is survived by: his wife Doreen Doughty Wood; his sister Linda Wood Seats (John); his children, Robin Wood Furr (MaryAnn) and Tracy Wood; his grandchildren, Melanie Wood (Will), Victoria Furr Buening (Matthew), Rebecca Wood Pierson (Alec), Brendon Wood and Nicholas Wood; and his great grandchild Charlie Jane Pierson.
