He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathy; his children, Christopher of Charlotte, NC and Bronwyn Peterson (Don) of Peyton, CO; his grandchildren, Matthew, Julia and Elissa; his great grandchild Brinley; his stepson Glenn Weyler (Lynette) of Greensboro, NC; his sister-in-law Vicky Pickard of Kannapolis, NC; and his close friend Chip Starling.
