With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Von Hayes of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on December 9, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hayes and Mildred Hayes; and his brothers, Dr. Gary Hayes, G. Wynn Hayes and John Hayes.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Hayes; his sons, L. Phillip Hayes (Stephanie) and Steven Hayes (Kelly); his grandsons, Jonathan Hayes (Kristy), Joshua Hayes, Michael Hayes (Katherine) and Jacob Hayes; his great grandchild Wesley Hayes; and his siblings, Ricky Hayes (Ellen), Darryl Hayes (Mindy) and Beverly Baker.
