She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Beatrice Wiley and Willie Thames Jr.; her daughters, Bettina Dobie (Nathan Dobie) and Shauntai Pauley (James Baker); her siblings, Lena Thames, William Thames (Diane) and Larry Thames; her grandchildren, James Latrelle Baker, Destiny Mcadams, Daviana Mcadams, Malasyia Baker, Desiree Mcadams, Kimora Baker, David Mcadams Jr., Damion, Josh, Arianna, Gabriel, Rahmel and Serinity; and her close friend Valerie Crockett. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
