It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Johnson Gabriel of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Hubert Johnson and Lillie Belle Linker. She is survived by: her close friend James David Gabriel; her children, Lisa Kay Gabriel, Emily Jewel Gabriel and William Brian Gabriel; her grandchild Kolin Tyler True; and her sister Mary Elizabeth Skidmore.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ruby's honor can be made to the Woodlawn Community Fellowship, 737 Woodlawn Rd., Charlotte, NC 28209.
