She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Starnes and Myrtle Starnes (McClain); and her sister Joyce Reid. She is survived by: her husband Alfard Long of Charlotte, NC; her children, Randy Duncan (Denise), Vickie Becker (Sharon) and Jack Duncan (Pam); her grandchildren, Kristina, Angela, Jason, Joey, Kerri, Bridgett, Jessica and Cailyn; and her siblings, Rachel Martin, Ken Starnes and Judy "Fran" Howie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
