With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Belk Grier (Charlotte, North Carolina), who passed away on January 24, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie A. Belk and Bessie M. Belk; and her sisters, Johnnie B. Thompson and Evelyn Belk. She is survived by: her daughters, Evelyn G. Bailey (Nelson) and Lynn G. Ollis (Andy); and her grandchildren, Jennifer B. Everhart (Matthew) and Scott H. Bailey (Whitney). She is also survived by five great grandsons; four very special sister-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Matthews United Methodist Church.
