It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Ross Payne M. D (Charlotte, North Carolina), who passed away on August 15, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Payne and Walter Payne. He is survived by: his wife Mary Suttle Payne of Lookout Mtn; his children, Mary Catherine Overby (Tom) of Vienna and Stanley Ross Payne, Jr. (Sally) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Logan, Austin, Thomas, Freeman, Suttle, Fulton, Fuller and Lucius; Walter Freeman Payne (Pam) of Denver.
Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Church of the First Born, 3418 St. Elmo Ave , Chattanooga , Tn 37409 , which Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church has worked with in partnership in support of numerous causes dear to Stanley 's heart.
